The Democratic Women's Club voted overwhelmingly at our March meeting to become an organization member of the SCCW and will be contributing to their scholarship fund for young women. Democratic Women's Club                            of Stanislaus Club News Have a Happy Valentine's Day! Congratulations to Mayor-elect Garrad Marsh on his election runoff WIN for Mayor of Modesto! You are invited to his swearing-in ceremony! February 14, at 5:30 p.m. Council Chambers 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto. A mayoral reception will be held at 6:00 p.m., February 28, 2012, at the McHenry Museum, 1402 I Street, Modesto. January Meeting Notes Special "Thank You" to Lesa Rasmussen & Adam Gray, Assembly Candiates for AD21 - guest speakers at the January meeting.  The women's club held a vote for endorsement at the meeting for the CDP Pre-endorsement Conference held the following day.  Both candidates did a great job!
